This beautiful unheated Montana sapphire is a lovely light aqua color, a shade of pale blue-green that can look more blue or more green depending on the lighting. The gem is 100 percent natural and untreated in any way. It has slight inclusions that are just barely visible to the naked eye. The inclusions have been factored into the price, making this a great value for the size and color.
blue-green color–a classic Montana sapphire color. There are a few tiny natural inclusions visible in the macro images, but they are not easily visible in the hand unless you are looking for them very closely. They are far less prominent than the photo implies, and in the hand the gem is quite beautiful; I have factored it into the pricing, making this gem a great value for the size.
This sapphire is faceted in our “Fourth of July” radiant rectangle design and cut to high precision; the result is a glittering beauty of a gemstone. It weighs 1.41 carats and measures 6.8 x 5.0 x 4.0 mm. It would make an amazing center stone for a beautiful engagement ring!
