Description
This Montana sapphire is a lovely teal blue. The color was developed by heating the gem in Montana, but no other treatments were used. The treatment is permanent and stable and not only develops the color, but also improves the clarity. This sapphire has slight inclusions that are just barely visible to the naked eye. The inclusions have been factored into the price, making this a great value for the size and color. It looks better in person than the photo would imply.
This sapphire is faceted in our modified version of the classic diamond round brilliant design, optimized for sapphire and cut to hearts-and-arrows precision. The result is a glittering beauty of a gemstone. The gem weighs 1.51 carats and measures 6.9 x 6.9 x 4.4 mm.
