Description
This beautiful Montana sapphire is a stunning rich blue. The color was developed by heating the gem in Montana, but no other treatments were used. The treatment is permanent and stable and not only develops the color, but also improves the clarity. This sapphire has very small inclusions that are quite difficult to see with the naked eye from a normal viewing distance.
This sapphire is faceted in our modified version of the classic diamond round brilliant design, optimized for sapphire and cut to hearts-and-arrows precision. The result is a glittering beauty of a gemstone. The gem weighs 1.60 carats and measures 7.1 x 7.1 x 4.6 mm.
