Description
Namibia has produced many gems, and is particularly well known for the gorgeous shades of blue-green or “lagoon blue” tourmaline found there. This blue tourmaline is sometimes called indicolite for it’s indigo-like hues. This beautiful Namibian tourmaline is gorgeous “lagoon blue” color, reminiscent of the color of the tropical seas. The gem is 100 percent natural and untreated in any way. This tourmaline has very small inclusions that are quite difficult to see with the naked eye from a normal viewing distance.
The tourmaline is faceted in our custom “Fourth of July” radiant rectangle design, optimized for tourmaline. The gem weighs 1.62 carats and measures 8.2 x 6.1 x 4.4 mm. It would make a great pendant or impressive ring!

Video Request
Although we do our best to take the highest quality images, sometimes it can be difficult to envision how it will look on your hand. We can take a video of up to four gems side by on the hand to help you compare them and see how they perform in daylight. Please provide the following information, and include the SKU numbers or links to the stones you would like to see a video of.
Please note that we don’t do 360-degree videos as colored gems are optimized to be viewed face up, and because the current technology is such that none of the 360-degree systems we have tested provides the accurate color. Our desire is to present the most honest and accurate color possible!
