Description
This beautiful heated Montana sapphire is a gorgeous deep blue-green, a classic Montana sapphire color and one of my favorites. The color was developed by heating the gem in Montana, but no other treatments were made to the gem. The treatment is permanent and stable and not only develops the color, but also improves the clarity. This sapphire has slight inclusions that are just barely visible to the naked eye. The inclusions have been factored into the price, making this a great value for the size and color.
This sapphire is faceted in my custom “Orion” brilliant oval design that I’ve created and optimized for sapphire; the result is a glittering beauty of a gemstone. It weighs 1.70 carats and measures 7.8 x 6.3 x 4.5 mm. It would make an amazing center stone for a beautiful engagement ring!
