Description
This beautiful heated Montana sapphire is a gorgeous deep royal blue color a very rare color for the Montana gems. The color was developed by heating the gem in Montana, but no other treatments were made to the gem. The treatment is permanent and stable and not only develops the color, but also improves the clarity. The sapphire has one tiny feather inclusion that is just barely visible to the naked eye if you search very closely for it. At a normal viewing distance it is not visible. The inclusion has been factored into the price, making this sapphire a great value for the size and color.
This sapphire is faceted in our custom “Serendipity” brilliant oval design, created and optimized for sapphire; the result is a glittering beauty of a gemstone. The gem weighs 1.53 carats and measures 7.5 mm x 6.1 mm x 4.5 mm; the perfect size for an engagement ring.
