Description
This beautiful Montana sapphire is a mix of blue and green that is a classic color for the Montana gems. This sapphire has been subject to traditional heat treatment in Montana to improve the color and clarity, but no other treatments have been applied. The treatment is permanent and stable. This sapphire has very small inclusions that are quite difficult to see with the naked eye from a normal viewing distance.
This sapphire is faceted in our custom “Aurora” brilliant square cushion design, created and optimized for sapphire; the resulting gemstone is bright and scintillating in the hand. The gem weighs 1.99 carats and measures 6.8 x 6.8 x 4.9 mm. It would make an amazing center stone for a unique and one-of-a-kind engagement ring.
