Description
This beautiful heated Montana sapphire is a lovely rich blue. The color was developed by heating the gem in Montana, but no other treatments were made to the gem. The treatment is permanent and stable and not only develops the color, but also improves the clarity. This sapphire has slight inclusions that are just barely visible to the unaided eye. The inclusions have been factored into the price, making this a great value for the size and color.
This sapphire was faceted in the United States in our modified version of the classic diamond round brilliant design, optimized for sapphire and cut to “hearts-and-arrows” precision. The gem weighs 1.24 carats and measures 6.4 x 4.2 mm.
