A beautiful particolored unheated sapphire in a classic radiant rectangle design, 1.78 carats.

Description
This unheated sapphire is a unique combination of bright cornflower blue in the center and deep royal blue at the ends. The gem shows zones of the two colors, creating a “bicolored” effect. The gem is 100 percent natural and untreated in any way. The gem was upcycled from a vintage piece of jewelry, and based on gemological evidence, it is from Madagascar. It has very small inclusions that are quite difficult to see with the unaided eye from a normal viewing distance. The inclusions have been factored into the price, making this a great value for the size and color.
The sapphire has been recut in the United States to improve the brilliance; it is faceted in a classic radiant rectangle design and cut to high precision. The sapphire weighs 1.78 carats and measures 6.9 x 5.5 x 4.8 mm.
