A beautiful teal green Madagascar sapphire in a classic emerald cut, 2.05 carats.

Description
This sapphire is a lovely mix of blue and green. The color can look much more blue or green depending on the lighting. It has been subject to traditional heat treatment; heat treatment is permanent and stable and not only develops the color, but also improves the clarity. This sapphire was acquired directly from a reputable gem dealer; it is represented as being from Madagascar. The sapphire has extremely small inclusions that are quite difficult to see with the unaided eye from a normal viewing distance. The inclusions have been factored into the price, making this a great value for the size and color. The parallel lines seen in the macro photo are internal twinning planes that are not visible to the unaided eye and do not impact the durability of the gem.
The sapphire was faceted outside the United States in a classic emerald cut. The gem weighs 2.05 carats and measures 7.3 x 6.0 x 4.6 mm.
