Description
This unheated Tanzanian sapphire is a stunning deep blue-green color that can look much more blue or green depending on the lighting. This sapphire was acquired directly from a reputable gem dealer, and based on gemological evidence, we believe it is from Tanzania. It has very small inclusions that are quite difficult to see with the unaided eye from a normal viewing distance. The inclusions have been factored into the price, making this a great value for the size and color.
The sapphire was faceted outside the United States in a custom kite-shaped design. The gem weighs 3.09 carats and measures 10.7 x 8.1 x 5.8 mm.
