This matched pair of sapphires were mined from the famed Rock Creek deposit near Philipsburg, Montana. They are a beautiful mix of blue and green that is a classic color for Montana gems. The color was developed by heating the sapphire in Montana, but no other treatments were used. The treatment is permanent and stable and not only develops the color, but also improves the clarity. The pair of exceptional stones weigh 1.49 carats total. They are faceted in a classic diamond round brilliant design and cut to high precision.
