The “Amborella” Ring with 1.43-Carat Tsavorite Garnet

Intertwined botanical motifs and glittering diamond swirl into the precious “Amborella”. This ring comes complete with a 1.43-carat tsavorite garnet. This style features our “Flora” cathedral basket setting and a 2mm-wide vine-motif band with tiny diamond accents. Each ring includes four tiny diamonds with G+ color and VS clarity, weighing an average approximate total of 0.02 carats.

Tsavorite garnet is named for the Tsavo region of Kenya, where many of these amazing green garnets are mined. While first discovered in 1967 in nearby Tanzania, significant quantities of gem grade tsavorite garnets have only been found in parts of Tanzania and nearby Kenya. Tsavorite is a form of grossular garnet, colored intensely green by trace amounts of vanadium. This garnet is a bright grass green. The gem is 100 percent natural and untreated in any way. It This garnet appears to be nearly flawless. There are no visible inclusions, even when examined with a 10x loupe. This garnet was faceted in the United States in our “Stella” brilliant square cushion design and cut to high precision; the result is a glittering beauty of a gemstone. It weighs 1.43 carats and measures 6.4 x 4.6 mm.

This “Amborella” ring is made from 14k yellow gold, and while it is currently US size 7, it can be resized from approximately size 5.75 to size 7.75. Please allow approximately one week for shipping if resizing is required.
