Elegant “Cybele” is the perfect frame for the picture of your life. This style features a four-prong basket setting and a classic split shank that tapers from the center gem down to 2.0mm. This solitaire ring comes complete with a 1.97-carat Mahenge garnet.

This garnet comes from a renowned find outside Mahenge, Tanzania. Production has diminished dramatically since 2015, so these garnets are in very limited supply and the prices for the rough have increased dramatically in recent years. They have outstanding brilliance and dispersion that gives them a beautiful fire in the hand. This gem is a gorgeous rich raspberry pink color. The gem is 100 percent natural and untreated in any way. It was cut from rough sourced from Mahenge, Tanzania. It has excellent clarity, making it bright and scintillating in the hand. There may be tiny inclusions that are visible only with a 10x loupe. This garnet was faceted in the United States in our modified version of the classic diamond round brilliant design and cut to “hearts-and-arrows” precision. The gem weighs 1.97 carats and measures 7.6 x 4.9 mm.

This ring is made from 14k yellow gold, and while it is currently US size 7.25, it can be resized from approximately size 5 to size 9. Please allow approximately one week for shipping if resizing is required.
