When my fiancé and I started looking at rings, I had a very specific idea in my head of what I wanted. Not only did Earth’s Treasury happen to have exactly what I wanted in the Niobe setting, but Lauryn and the staff were so helpful. They even sent us 3D printed models of the ring with the 2 different stones we were looking at in different ring sizes, which helped greatly in making the right decision on sizing. Even though I chose one of the setting they already had available, the amount of opportunities for feedback and input during the process made it feel custom. Fantastic team over at earths treasury, Jeff helped me find the perfect gemstone and design the ring, then got me connected with Nina to work through my ring and the ordering process. They made it super easy and kept me updated every step of the way. I decided for the proposal I would get a Montana sapphire because my fiancé has always wanted one so I wanted to get the ring she really wanted. The gem is beautiful, drastic changes on the light not just a shimmer like a diamond. It’s better in person, they also sent me many videos and renders of the gemstone and the ring before and after production to validate it was all the way I want it. This made it easy as being military I can’t have a local connection with a jeweler most of the time, so they made that local connection over the internet worthwhile. Will be back for earrings and other jewelry over time!

Couldn’t be happier with how our ring from Earth’s Treasury turned out and wanted to give a shout out! We met with Lauryn in person in August and seeing their stone collection confirmed my want for a Montanna Sapphire. We were given a tour of the facilities and loved the vibes of the studio (seeing where they cut the stones, make the rings etc). After stone selection, they made the design process so easy. We didn’t know much except for an overall vision and emphasis on a secure setting and Lauryn executed flawlessly. She sent multiple renderings and even mailed prototypes cross-country to be able to confidently green light the final product. They kept my now-fiance up to date with the production so he could plan accordingly. Couldn’t recommend them more! Can’t stop looking at my finger!

I’m absolutely thrilled with my experience with Earth’s Treasury! From the point of my initial inquiry until the completed ring was shipped, the team was incredibly helpful, responsive, communicative, and willing to answer my many questions as someone who was completely new to the world of fine jewelry. I especially appreciated the opportunity to review the gems in person before deciding which one to use for the setting. This was a crucial part of the process, given how much variability there is in the colors of various gemstones (especially sapphires), and how different they can look in a photo/video vs. in real life (and under different lighting conditions). The 3D-printed mockups were also super helpful, as I initially had a very different setting in mind, but after trying the mockup, realized that I wanted something much lower profile. The team were easily able to accommodate my requests (combining elements from two settings they had, reducing the number of diamonds in the band, and making the band narrower). These customisations actually reduced the cost of the final setting (probably because of removing some diamonds), rather than increasing it. Also, I thought the pricing was very fair—I had assumed that getting a custom-set ring would be more expensive than getting something that was ready to ship, but this did not turn out to be the case (at least for the kinds of stones and settings I was interested in). We had a wonderful experience designing our engagement rings with Lauryn and Julia. I knew I wanted a sapphire, but didn’t like the cuts or colors offered by big retailers, so we decided to buy from Earth’s Treasury. We were both a little nervous about buying a gemstone and designing jewelry over the internet, but we took the leap because of reading other glowing reviews. Customer service is fabulous, they overnight you the gem (with shipping insurance and full refund if it’s not what you want), custom design is included, and the end result was spectacular. We both love our rings so much and can’t believe that we get to own something so beautiful.

I love my rings!!! They are truly crafted to perfection. I bought the thin borealis ring, as I wanted to have a ring that I could wear everyday with stones that are inset. It has the colors of the ocean in it. I asked for the lighter blue/green sapphires and they had me approve the stones before creating the ring. I then bought the 9 stone stackable and I often wear them together. I will be looking for earrings next. Montana Sapphires are now my favorite!!!

We had a sapphire engagement ring created in Spring ’24 and then the proposal happened in Alaska that Summer. She was involved with the ring design and fitting but didn’t want to know anything beyond that so Jeff mailed the ring and associated package items in an unmarked box. Every step of the process was so simple and extremely straightforward. Fitting redundancies, quick email turn around, availability for calls to discuss details. Tremendous. I was chatting with a fine-skill carpenter about having a box made but the even the box it came in was so beautiful I couldn’t not use it! We’re currently looking into having ET do our wedding bands as well. 10/10 would recommend!

I had been dating my now husband for about a month when he first asked if I had my heart set on a diamond because he thought something blue or green would suit me better. Thinking he was absolutely insane, I told my best friend of 20 years that this man was already talking about left hand jewelry. She excitedly proclaimed, “oh send him my way! I cannot speak highly enough about working with the Earth’s Treasury team on my custom engagement and wedding ring set! Originally, my fiancee worked with a VA-based local jeweler to create a solitaire ring featuring a Montana sapphire with pave diamonds on the band. However, I kept knocking out the side stones. Inspired by the “Moirae” setting I had seen advertised on social media, I reached out to see if they could use my existing stone in addition to heirloom diamonds from my mother’s wedding ring to reset my engagement ring and create a complimentary wedding band. Turns out, the original center stone was sourced from Earth’s Treasury originally! I wish we had worked with them all along! Working with the design team was so much fun! They took into account the size of the supplied stones and made recommendations on options for the third stone would look proportionally best and also suggested modifications to the design that would make the ring as durable as possible (clearly I am hard on my jewelry!) Throughout the process, they provided videos, digital renderings, and even mailed me a 3D printed prototype so I could see how the ring would look on my finger. The whole process moved quickly, taking just 2.5 months from my initial outreach through to receiving the final product. I LOVE, LOVE, LOOOOOVE the final product.

Back in 2021, my girlfriend indicated that she had a preference for a non-traditional engagement ring. After visiting all the local big-box jewelry retailers, she became discouraged at her options and decided to look online for alternatives. She discovered Earth’s Treasury and I reached out to Jeff Hapeman who quickly responded to my inquiries. The primary appeal of Earth’s Treasury was their excellent selection of Montana sapphires. Once I selected a stone, I began coordinating with Lauryn Volovar who customized the engagement ring and wedding bands. She was extremely accommodating and the ring turned out better than I could’ve imagined. To this day, I catch my wife staring at her rings. She frequently receives compliments whenever she’s wearing it. Since then, I have worked with Earth’s Treasury multiple times. Lauryn assisted me to create a second wedding band that I used to surprised my wife on our wedding day. Lauryn picked gemstones that were very similar to the initial band, further illustrating her attention to detail. At the beginning of 2024, I commissioned Earth’s Treasury to create a pearl pendant, tis time I worked with Julia Ballaron. She was excellent at asking the right questions to extract my vision. After a few iterations, she presented me with a rendering of my idea. Like Lauryn, she was meticulous at selecting stones that worked in the pendant and also matched my wife’s bands. TLDR: Earth’s Treasury does outstanding work. Their fervid passion translates into their work as exceptional artisans.

Lauryn, Jeff and the team at Earth’s Treasury helped me take a unique stone and create a ring to commemorate a special occasion. They took videos of many of their stones in both natural and incandescent light so I could choose the ideal one for me. I chose an aqua/yellow particolor Montana sapphire, and then I was able to see it in renderings of two of their settings and a custom setting I sent a photo of. After deciding on a setting, I received email updates at every step of the process – when the mold was made, when the ring was cast, when it was back at ET’s workshop… all up until it was delivered. I couldn’t be happier with the customer service – and my ring! I highly recommend the stones – and the jewelers at Earth’s Treasury! And thank you (and your team) for shipping it so quickly so I could have it in time for graduation! I’ve been in marketing for over 20 years and went back to school in the summer of 2020 to get my master’s in clinical mental health counseling. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, but never had the confidence. But, I am so glad I did! I’ve completed it in 4 years while working in marketing full time. I was just hired last month as an outpatient clinician working with individuals who have co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, and I know I’ve made the right decision. Jeff and his team are amazing and worked with me to design a customized version of one of their stunning rings. The communication from the start was so quick and responsive – and it’s great being able to speak with the owner of the business, and that it’s a small, US business is amazing. The design process was really thorough and Julia the designer, went out of her way to make sure I could visualize the final design as clearly as possible before production. (Some of the renderings I even wanted to print and frame!) The gem review process was also great, with plenty of time to sit with and choose the perfect sapphire/gem. It is absolutely perfect and my fiancé LOVES her ring and stone – and she gets compliments ALL the time on both.
