Just recently purchased a beautiful Midnight Blue Australian Sapphire from Earth’s Treasury for an engagement ring (she said yes!). I really couldn’t have asked for a better experience with a company during this important process. Jeff and his team are super communicative, polite, friendly and helpful. They are able to send video of any stone they have on their site, up to 4 at a time, and will even show it in both indoor and outdoor lighting. This helped take some pressure off of buying a stone online and trusting a single photo. I must have asked for half a dozen videos and they were quick to respond and never made me feel like I was asking for too much. The sapphire I did end up choosing is absolutely beautiful and looks different in every light setting and with every light source. Our favorite so far has been indirect morning light. You can see flashes of green and teal depending on the angle, and even looks black in some low lighting. Every stone in all the videos I received were gorgeous though. I kept watching them on repeat. Earth’s Treasury even offered free overnight shipping. I could not recommend them enough.

Words cannot express how easy and wonderful this whole process has been. My fiancée and I were initially hesitant about purchasing our engagement ring online but the staff at Earth’s Treasury were so helpful and exceeded our expectations for the level of customer service they provided. I’d been on the lookout for a perfect gemstone and instantly fell in love with this one. I appreciated being able to see the stone in person before sending it back to be set. Julia was great to work with and helped me with a setting to be a bit protective so I feel a bit more confident with my ring around my child and with just the right amount of little detail to really let the tourmaline shine. I’d heard great things about the stones, but I was also impressed with the jewelry creation process. I hope to return for some sapphire jewelry in the future, but I’ll definitely be browsing all the gorgeous gems until then.

We can’t recommend Earth’s Treasury highly enough. We bought two engagement rings, a Montana sapphire and a Songea (Tanzania) sapphire, and put them in a custom setting and a non-custom setting. We got to see the stones to confirm they were what we wanted, both by video and when they were mailed to us, and saw 3-D mock-ups before the stones were put into to settings. We worked closely with Julia, who was super responsive, solicitous, and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. For what we got and the service we received, I’m shocked the prices were so low. We would definitely recommend Earth’s Treasury for anyone wanting a beautiful, custom ring (or earrings, necklace, etc.).

First and foremost, not all jewelry shops are created equal, and if you’re shopping for an engagement ring, you should know that your satisfaction with the finished product will greatly depend on the jeweler’s craftsmanship, attention to detail, and expertise. All the little details add up and contribute toward the overall aesthetic of your ring. In that sense, the ring’s design is almost as important, if not more important, than the quality of its center stone. This is what sets Earth’s Treasury apart, in my opinion. I specifically wanted an ethically sourced gemstone and spent a lot of time researching. Once I decided that I wanted a Montana Sapphire, I scoured the internet for the best artisan jewelers that carry mine direct Montana Sapphires. After experiencing poor customer service, lack of knowledge and slow response time from another company…I was so lucky to stumble across Earth’s Treasury. Not only are their gems absolutely gorgeous, but they are very fairly priced. I immediately fell in love with a yellow-gold bicolored Montana Sapphire they had listed on their website and I inquired by email immediately. Jeff, the founder of Earth’s Treasury, responded within 30 minutes and also included a pair of videos of the gem taken indoors and outdoors. At that point, I was already sold but it gets better… Jeff put me in touch with the lead jewelry designer, Lauryn, who called me promptly the next day to answer all of my questions about how the process works. Soon after, the gem was purchased and the journey began. The gem arrived the next day and we were given a 10 business day review and return period to make sure we loved it. If for some reason we were not happy with it, we could return it for a full refund. Spoiler alert…we loved it. The next step was to ship it back (I have to admit it was difficult to part with) and start working with Lauryn on the design. I shared stories and details with her about our relationship and through our communications Lauryn combined our personal details with her wealth of experience and creativity to design the perfect ring. Because my fiancé and I had both previously been married and came together later in life each with two kids of our own, I knew I wanted something that represented us and was different from anything we’ve seen. I wanted the whole ring to feel like the sun because I always call my fiancé my big ray of sunshine. Lauryn suggested incorporating smaller colored Montana Sapphires around the center stone within the diamond baguette “rays”. The two small yellow Montana Sapphires on each side represent my fiancé and I and the four smaller mint colored Montana sapphires in each corner represent our four children. We received sketches and 3D renderings of the ring design in progress, which was incredibly convenient. But design is just one part of it, am I right? You want to know what the sales experience is like, too. Jeff, Lauryn, Nina and Tessa were very communicative via phone and email. They were knowledgeable, professional, and above all else, understanding of our goals. On top of that, we received a complimentary appraisal by mail and email a couple weeks after our engagement which was a pleasant surprise and icing on the cake. Every day I look at this ring, I am grateful for the team at Earth’s Treasury who took our love story and made it tangible. They are on top of their game and latest trends (check their Instagram if you don’t believe me), which leaves a lot of traditional jewelry shops in the dust.

I have been following Earth’s Treasury work on Instagram for a bit and love seeing all the beautiful gemstone jewelry their team creates. I recently worked with Lauryn who helped me modify one of their existing pave earring sets. Their team was incredibly responsive and the entire process was seamless. Once I approved the rendering, the purple/blue pave earrings arrived within the agreed upon timeline and beautifully packaged. Absolutely love this store. Their selection of sapphires and other stones was a bit overwhelming, but the staff is very patient with sending you side-by-side comparison pictures in different light settings to get a feel of what you are getting. I purchased a color change loose sapphire for my fiancés engagement stone, and it is far more stunning than the pictures can show. Jeff was very helpful in selecting just the right stone for us. We get compliments all the time. Highly recommended, and definitely take your time looking through the stones and rings, you’re bound to find something that’s just right!
