Daniel and I are engaged! He proposed on August 12th while we were observing the Perseid meteor shower on our camping and hiking trip to the Finger Lakes, it couldn’t have been a more perfect moment. Tessa and Lauryn, Thank you, and the entire Earth’s Treasury team, for your efforts on this beautiful gemstone and ring. The ring showed up on Monday April 5th, and we got engaged Wednesday April 7th at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. We hiked 7+ miles down, had a picnic, then I proposed on the bridge over the Colorado River….then the daunting 7 mile trek back up. It was a long day but one of the best in my life. When we first started talking about getting married we both knew it was important that we have a Montana stone. We looked at a number of jewelers in Montana but they dealt almost exclusively in yogo sapphires. They were beautiful but all pretty similar in color and way out of our budget. When we found your website and started looking at the variety and quality of the Montana sapphires you had we were so excited.
