Description
This beautiful Colombian emerald is a gorgeous shade of bright green with a slight bluish tone. The gem is been subject to traditional oil treatment. This sapphire was acquired directly from a reputable gem dealer; it is represented as being from Colombia. This gem has the typical light inclusions or “jardin” that is to be expected in emerald.
This emerald was faceted outside the United States in a classic oval cut; there is some mild windowing in the center which slightly affects the brilliance. It weighs 1.70 carats and measures 9.2 x 7.5 x 4.5 mm.
