Description
This matched pair of sapphires were mined from the famed Rock Creek deposit near Philipsburg, Montana. They are a classic rich blue color, one of the more desirable colors for sapphire. The color was developed by heating the sapphire in Montana, but no other treatments were used. The treatment is permanent and stable and not only develops the color, but also improves the clarity. The pair of exceptional stones weigh approx. 1.20 carats total. They are faceted in a classic diamond round brilliant design and cut to high precision. The diamond accents include thirty-two tiny diamonds, all in G-H color and I1 clarity, weighing an approximate total of 0.16 carats.
